Mini Project 2
Github Setup
To create a shared repository for this project (for you and your partner + me), each person should go to https://classroom.github.com/a/wmmDk6LT. Choose the same team as you did for Checkpoint 5.
Longitudinal Mini Project
For this project, you and your partner should revisit your work in Checkpoint 5 and the feedback you received. You will updated and revise this work for this project.
Your goal is to communicate about your research question about the ACTIVE trial and the longitudinal methods we use to better answer that question.
Your audience is a Stat 155 audience. You may choose your format, but you can use the template and bibliography file template, if you’d like.
For this mini project, your written communication must have fewer than 1000 words of text and only one professional looking visualization. Include code in your Rmd file but hide the output of your models. Do not create a table of model output; rather, summarize your conclusions based on the model output in words. You may want to include a few (~3 or less) coefficient estimates in your summary. Your written communication should include the following:
- An introduction to the ACTIVE study with parenthetical citations of relevant papers using bibtex
- An introduction to your research question and why it is important
- A discussion and justification of your model (gee v. mixed effects; mean model; covariance model) that explains WHY you made your choices
- A discussion of your conclusions based on the model and the limitations to the conclusions you can make.
